New Submissions!

I was excited to discover a lovely duster, stitched by Barbara Powell from Sussex Coast College and the University of Brighton, waiting on my desk at work for me this week. Her reference is literary one; the time Miss Havisham stopped all the clocks in Dicken’s Great Expectations

Then this morning I received a lovely parcel from Kathy Findley, whom I met for the first time at the Stitching Salon last weekend. She brought a duster that she’d started at home with her on Saturday, having selected a used one and stitching the text at home before embellishing the stains with flowers during the workshop.

Wonderful! Thank you to everyone and keep the submissions coming. All dusters received  before the 7th March will be included in the Pop-Up exhibition at the De La Warr Pavilion on Tuesday 8th March during the PechaKucha talks.
